Spending my birthday in jail

Yes, you read right - I'm spending my birthday in jail. Well, part of the day. The reason? The new Brisbane Correctional Centre (formerly Sir David Longland Prison) is about to open, but before that happens Corrective Services are opening it up to the public for a sneak peek at life behind bars, and it just so happens it's this weekend! So that's happening on Sunday - a group of us shall trek out to Wacol to check out jail, before prisoners check in in January.


However, to celebrate my joining Club 24 I'm hosting a Luau on Saturday. All things Hawaiian are included, such as leis, grass skirts, coconuts, pineapples, swimming, and cocktails of course! Bring on 24, it had better be an awesome year!
