I'm not a Toolie!!

My work can be extremely stressful and tiring, but occasionally it has its perks. The last five days I've been down the Gold Coast for Schoolies Week. I know most people will say 'but all the drunk horrid teenagers! How can that be a perk?'. Ah, but it can be if you're working evening shifts so you've got all day to do whatever you want! I decided to treat my little sojourn as a bit of a holiday - every day I went for long walks along the beach and swimming in the surf - lovely! And today I met up with my lil sis, who is a Schoolie, and we went to Harbour Town. Many bargains I bought, including two fabulous pairs of shoes for only 30 bucks each - hurrah!

Anyway, back to the BrisVegas office tomorrow morning, then back on nights next week. Back into my bubble, that is...

Bringing sexy back

Can you believe it's November already? Crazy talk, I know! And yet, there it is.

So not a great deal has been happening. Work has been crazy busy and I've just finished my eight-day night shift stint, so I'm coming back out of a bubble. I've now got three days off, and then I'm heading down to the Gold Coast for five days for work - Schoolies week is kicking off, and that means intense media interest. I'm doing the evening shifts, which means I'll have the mornings to enjoy the beach (and hopefully all the teenagers will still be asleep at that point).

In other news, a few weeks ago, Casey, Cinda, Cinda's sister and I all went to see Justin Timberlake's Futuresex show at the BrisVegas Entertainment Centre. All I can say is, he's my future husband, and I don't even believe in marriage! The boy can sing, dance, and play piano and guitar. *insert more gushing* Next time he comes to town though, I'm going to spend the extra cash on better tickets though. There are certain shows where it's worth paying the extra moula.

And that's about all that's happening really. I've almost finished all my Christmas shopping, and I'm going to try and get away for a weekend soon. Holidays beckon!
